Are you noticing the surplus of chocolates and treats in the stores? It seems temptation is everywhere you look. But showing some love to yourself and others doesn’t have to be all about the sweets. There are plenty of ways to show your love without the extra calories.

  1. Enjoy some good conversation on a coffee date. Giving someone your time is a sure way to show you care.
  2. Gather some close friends or family for a game night. Laughing and having fun with the people you love is good for the soul.
  3. A healthy home-cooked meal is a great way to show yourself and others that you care.
  4. Create a self-care kit. This is a great idea for yourself and others. You can fill your kit with things like a motivational quote, bubble bath, lotion, a manicure kit, exercise DVD, healthy snacks like almonds, and more!
  5. Let the mind escape for a while and get lost in a good book. Taking “me time” is important for everyone to do. Whether the book is for you or someone else, it’s a great way to relax and unplug.
