In addition, if you signed up for a free, confidential biometric screening, you’ll get a chance to win a $100 gift card to DICK’s Sporting Goods, PLUS a $50 wellness incentive from The Hartford if you’re enrolled in either Critical Illness or Hospital Indemnity plans (we’ll give you instructions on filing your claim).
Because your health is important to all of us here at The Arc WC, and to ensure that everyone has time to participate, hourly staff will be provided with up to 30 minutes of paid time. This event is for employees of The Arc of Washington County. Please bring your Arc ID badge (or other ID) with you to your appointment.

Receive a FREE confidential biometric wellness screening during The Arc of Washington County’s 7th annual Employee Spring Health Fair on May 10. All employees of The Arc WC are encouraged to get screened and you don’t have to have health insurance by the Arc WC to participate. Screenings are by appointment only.
Know your numbers by completing a simple fasting test with a fingerstick — no blood draw. Fasting means NO FOOD and NO BEVERAGES OTHER THAN WATER for 9-12 hours prior to your appointment time. Don’t worry, we will have fresh fruit and water for you to enjoy afterward. Please make sure to take all your medications as prescribed by your health care provider. If you forget to fast, you can still be tested, just be sure to tell the person conducting your screening.
During your personal biometric wellness screening, you will:
- Find out your health indicators
- Identify potential health risks
- Receive a brochure with your personal results
- Speak with an onsite counselor about your results
Screenings are available by appointment only – the deadline to reserve your spot was April 25th. If you’d like a free health screening, but didn’t make an appointment, drop by the biometric screening area at the health fair and ask if we’ve had any last minute cancellations. We may be able to see you.
