Open Enrollment for employees of The Arc of Washington County begins Monday, November 9, 2020.

For most employee benefits, Open Enrollment is the only time of year you are allowed to make enrollment changes unless you experience a qualifying life event such as marriage, divorce, birth or placement of a child, losing or gaining eligibility for other coverage, etc. During Open Enrollment, you should consider the benefits you have today and ask yourself if they will serve you and your loved ones well in the coming plan year.

Great news for 2021!

  • No change in your share of premiums for all medical plans. Additional costs for 2021 are being covered by The Arc WC.
  • Annual deductible for all medical plan options has been reduced to $3,000/individual or $6,000/family.
  • New “buy-up” dental option for those who want additional dental coverage, including orthodontia.
  • Vision benefits will be provided by VBA (we’re dropping NVA).

What do you need to do?

  • Review your current benefits and consider any changes you may wish to make for 2021.
  • Starting November 9, log into KTBSonline.com and complete your self-enrollment for changes that will take effect January 1, 2021. OR sign-up at tinyurl.com/2021enroll for an appointment to enroll by phone with a benefits consultant.
  • New for this year’s Open Enrollment: if you don’t make any changes, current benefits will continue in 2021 for you and your eligible dependents. If you currently have dental coverage, you’ll stay in the base plan. If you currently have vision coverage, you’ll have vision coverage with VBA next year. If you’re enrolled in either a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you’ll start 2021 with the same biweekly contribution that is in place at the end of 2020.
