Free, Confidential Biometric Screening
Know your numbers by completing a fasting test with a fingerstick or blood draw. Tests include: Chem 30, CBC, Thyroid Panel + TSH, Blood Pressure*, Height*, Weight*, Waist Circumference*, Pulse* and BMI*, Total Cholesterol*, HDL*, LDL*, Triglycerides*, Glucose*. Employees without Arc health insurance will receive screenings marked ‘*’. If you have health insurance through The Arc WC, this screening will satisfy the lab testing requirement for the Healthy Steps wellness program and get you one step closer to earning a $30 per pay wellness credit.
Fasting means no food and no beverages other than water or black coffee for 9 hours prior to your appointment time. Don’t worry, we will have a granola bar and water for you to enjoy afterward. Please make sure to take all your medications as prescribed by your health care provider. If you are diabetic, please consult your physician before fasting.

How to register for your onsite wellness screening appointment

- Under the NOT YET REGISTERED? box, enter the Screening Key Code
If you have Arc WC health insurance. use Key Code: PEA03
If you DO NOT have Arc WC health insurance, use Key Code: PEA04
* If you enter the wrong key code your information will not be found. Please be sure to enter the correct key code. - Enter your assigned default username and password and click Verify My Account. For your assigned default username and password use the following format:
USERNAME: First Initial + Last Initial + DOB (MMDDYYYY). For example: John Smith born 4/23/1975 is JS04231975
PASSWORD: Last Name + Last 4 SSN. For example: John Smith with social 123456789 is Smith6789
Username and Password are case sensitive - Then select “Click to Select” within the Onsite Screening section.
If you would like to opt in for a text message reminder, select “Yes” and type in your cell number and click Submit. - Select Maryland as the state where the onsite lab draw will be done.
- Use the drop down function to choose your work location, date and time of appointment, and then click Register. All appointments will last 6 to 10 minutes.
- Once you have completed the registration process, a confirmation page will be generated for you to print for your records. If you selected text messaging, you would also receive reminder texts about your upcoming appointment.

Please bring your Arc ID badge or other valid photo ID with you to your appointment.
When you participate in a wellness screening, you will:
- Find out your health indicators
- Identify potential health risks
- Receive follow-up with your personal results
- Discuss your results with an onsite counselor or registered nurse (at a scheduled Healthy Steps nurse visit for employees who have health insurance with The Arc WC)

When you participate in a biometric screening, you’ll get a chance to win a free FitBit Charge 5, PLUS you’ll qualify for a $50 wellness incentive from The Hartford if you’re enrolled in the Critical Illness or Hospital Indemnity plans ($100 if enrolled in both plans).
Wellness screenings are just one part of this event. Visit the booths to learn more about available services, get answers to your questions about employee benefits/insurance, pickup information and giveaway items, and enter to win prizes. Receive a free cinch sack when you sign in and then visit at least 6 wellness stations to receive a free door prize (a digital food scale with tray and custom imprint) and be entered into prize drawings.
